Dean’s Symposium – Celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the SLS Program

April 17, 2013 12:09 pm

When established in 1971, the Science, Letters, and Society program at CSI was one of the first liberal arts majors of this kind in the country, intended to prepare students for careers in teaching. As we celebrate 40 years of the SLS program, the panelists speaking at the Dean’s Symposium will highlight the accomplishments and history of this major.

I am looking forward to seeing you next week on Tuesday, Apr. 23, 2013 in the Center for the Arts Lecture Hall (Building 1P, Room 119 at 2:30 pm for a stimulating conversation. A reception will follow the event.
