Dr. Barbra Teater is joining the Department of Social Work as an Associate Professor were she will teach research methods to students enrolled on the Masters of Social Work program. She has over eight years’ experience teaching undergraduate and graduate social work students in both the US and England. Barbra’s research interests include health and wellbeing among older adults, intergenerational programs, and social work theories and methods. She has published over 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and is the author of four books including the bestselling text “An Introduction to Applying Social Work Theories and Methods.”
