The College of Staten Island has announced the schedule for its Summer Session 2008, which gives students from CSI and other colleges the chance to make significant headway toward their degrees by completing work over the summer.
Two four-week and two eight-week sessions, as well as a weekend session give students a number of options to attend classes at their convenience. There are even night sessions for students with day jobs. The first sessions begin on Monday, June 2.
Registration for Summer Session 2008 begins early April, and course-specific information, such as session dates and times, appears on the program’s Website, www.csi.cuny.edu/summeratcsi.
CSI President Tomás Morales says that Summer Session 2008 is “a unique opportunity for students to fulfill degree and graduation requirements, and move closer to launching their careers and begin earning a professional salary much more quickly.” Morales adds, “summer schedules can also be hectic, but Summer Session’s day, evening, and weekend course offerings let students take courses to fit their busy lives.”
