Dedication to the College community was clearly evident on the faces of nearly 100 proud people attending the College of Staten Island’s Campus Peace Officer Award and Recognition Ceremony held last week.
Hosted by Milton Santiago, Vice President for Finance and Administration, with Paul Murtha, Director of Public Safety, serving as the Master of Ceremonies, guest speakers included Michael Daniels, Acting Vice President of Student Affairs at CSI, as well as William Barry, Director of Public Safety at The City University of New York (CUNY) and Michael Lederhandler, Assistant Director of Public Safety at CUNY.
“Public Safety Officers are an integral component of college and campus life,” commented Santiago, “and I am proud to preside over the first of many award ceremonies that highlight the professionalism, dedication, and mission of the force.”
