The World On Wednesday Lecture Series presents “Sexual Rights and LGBT Activism in Mexico and Brazil,” a lecture by Rafael da la Dehesa, Sociology, on Wednesday, April 29 in the Campus Center (Building 1C), Room 227 from 12:20pm to 1:10pm.
Prof. Rafael da la Dehesa from the Sociology Department will explore trends in lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) activism in Brazil and Mexico since the emergence of organized movements in the 1970s until the present day.
