The Center for the Arts (CFA) at the College of Staten Island has announced the line-up for its 2009-2010 performing arts series, Close to Home, as well as its new director and new Website.

Newly appointed CFA Director, John Jankowski, says, “As the new Director for the Center for the Arts, I am honored to continue the mission and legacy of this world-class performing arts facility. Our exciting new season focuses on innovative performances with a strong community experience that is close to home.”

The CFA has also recently launched a new user-friendly Website that not only allows visitors to check the Center’s calendar of events, but it also has other useful sections with information on becoming a CFA member and how to rent space at the CFA, as well as discount offers and added links to the CFA’s new Facebook and MySpace pages. Regarding the Website, Jankowski notes that the CFA has listened to its audience, and has worked hard to produce a faster and easier way for them to find out what is happening at the Center.

These events and more can be found at the CSI Event Calendar.
