The College community is invited to honor and remember those who perished on September 11, 2001. On Friday, Sept. 11, the eight-year anniversary of the tragedy, please join President Morales and the CSI community in remembrance and reflection. The program will take place at noon at the World Trade Center Memorial on the lawn between Buildings 2N and 2A.
The program will include words from President Morales and Dennis Gaffigan, CSI Student Government Senator, as well as poems read by Prof. Tyehimba Jess and Prof. Patricia Smith, and music performed by CSI students, Gerald Gallardo and Daniel Muccio. The rain location for the event is the Campus Cneter (Building 1C) Green Dolphin Lounge.
The Prayer and Meditation Room (Building 1C, Room 109) will be open that day from 8:00am to 10:00pm for students, staff, and faculty.
For those who would like to speak with a professional counselor, counselors are available from 9:00am to 5:00pm, Mondays through Fridays, and Wednesdays and Thursdays until 7:30 pm in the Building 1A, Room 109.
