In its ongoing efforts to make its campus more environmentally friendly, the College of Staten Island will celebrate Transportation Day on Thursday, November 19, with the goal of promoting ride sharing at CSI. The College has co-partnered with CommuterLink, a nonprofit organization specializing in congestion-reducing programs that are designed to improve air quality and area mobility, for this event.
All members of the College community are encouraged to stop by the Transportation Day table between 11:00am and 3:00pm to pick up information and ask questions about improving their commutes, and to sign up for carpools. There will be free giveaways, including $8 Metro cards to the first 25 people who register for the ride-share program.
