The World on Wednesday lecture series presents “The Role of Diplomacy in an Increasingly Complex World” with
Robert William Dry, U.S. State Department Diplomat-in-Residence, on Nov. 11 in the Campus Center (Building 1C), Room 211 from 12:20pm to 1:10pm.

Ambassador Dry’s previous assignments have included placements in the Sultanate of Oman, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, China, Vietnam, and Iraq.  Prior to coming to CUNY, he served as Counselor for Environment, Science, Technology, and Health/Nonproliferation Regimes at the U.S. Embassy in Paris.  Working with French security authorities, he developed a U.S.-France collaborative counterterrorism program to enhance the protection of civilian nuclear facilities and the transportation of nuclear materials.
