As a corollary to the Library’s display of books authored by CSI faculty and staff, the Archives & Special Collections hosts events during Club Hours each semester to give authors a chance to talk about the research that went into their books. The talks are open to the entire campus community. At each event three or four authors present for 15 to 20 minutes each and have an opportunity to answer questions from the audience. If you are interested in speaking at an event during National Library Week (April 11 through 17), on Wednesday, Apri. 14 or Thursday, Apr. 15, please let me know by email at

These events are co-sponsored by the Office of the Provost/Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs.
