There has been a significant outbreak of a Denial of Service Virus on the College network. The University and the College have a zero-tolerance policy with regard to computer viruses. In accordance with the University Policy and to ensure the reliability of our network, any computer identified as having a computer virus will immediately be taken off of the College network.

The virus is being transmitted not only by way of the network but also by external devises, such as flash drives.

Please be vigilant in checking all of your external disks for viruses. To assist you in this endeavor, the HelpDesk will be conducting Anti-Virus Clinics this week. Please see the dates/times below when you can bring your flash drives and external drives to Building 2A, Room 306.

If you are not able to access the network or require assistance, please contact the HelpDesk at 718.982.3695.
