The Center for Teaching and Learning invites you to afternoon tea and coffee with Sheryll Porter from the Office of Disability Services on Wednesday, Apr. 28 in Building 1N, Room 115 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm.

Is your course content accessible? Are all of your students getting your board-written notes? Do your laboratory applications really speak to students? The Office of Disability Services will present a variety of portable, real-time technology solutions that can enhance the accessibility of classroom presentations and improve the possibility of independent laboratory exploration for students with sensory disabilities and their classmates.

The digital conversion of spoken and visual classroom content greatly enhances the educational environment for students with sensory disabilities and their classmates. Today, we have a variety of options for real-time digitally converted output from conventional classroom and laboratory resources.

The event is open to all faculty, students, and staff and light refreshments will be served.
