May is Managers and Supervisors Month for the CUNY Professional Development Program.

CUNY is offering six courses designed to strengthen the leadership skills of CUNY managers, supervisors, and professionals. These courses will provide strategies to help managers and supervisors lead with poise and confidence. These sessions will be offerred free of charge.

Courses include the following:

Tuesday and Wednesday, May 4 and 5:
C9041 “Creating and Delivering Powerful Presentations” at the Central Office at 57th Street (for managers, supervisors, and staff)

Tuesday and Wednesday, May 11 and 12:
C1026 “Team-based Leadership” at Kingsborough Community College (for managers)

Friday, May 14:
C3031 “Maintaining a Positive Work Environment” at the Central Office at 57th Street (for managers and supervisors)

Monday, May 17:
C9091 “Managing Irritation and Frustration in the Workplace” at the Central Office at 57th Street (for managers, supervisors, and staff)

Wednesday through Friday, May 19 through 21:
C1031 “Fundamentals of Supervision” at the Graduate Center (for managers, supervisors, and staff)

Wednesday and Thursday, May 26 and 27:
C9038 “Supervising Challenging Employees” at the Central Office at 57th Street (for managers and supervisors)
