The staff at Buildings and Grounds would appreciate your assistance with preventing mold and water damage by keeping all windows closed during the air conditioning season.
High humidity, in the outside air, will cause excessive condensation to occur within the A/C units and on the piping serving these units. The excessive condensation provides an excellent medium for mold and dripping water may stain or damage ceiling tiles.
Please contact the Office of Buildings and Grounds if there is a problem with the cooling system or you need assistance with closing a window.
