The College of Staten Island women’s tennis team has had its first official washout of the year, as Mother Nature’s showers have washed away their non-conference tilt with Kean University scheduled for this afternoon at 3:30pm in Union, New Jersey.  A make-up for this contest has been scheduled for Monday, October 11, with time and venue remaining the same.  Also, the CSI men’s soccer team’s CUNYAC-tilt with NYC College of Technology, originally scheduled for 3:30pm on Saturday has been changed to a 2pm start time.
The CSI women’s tennis team is currently 8-2 this season and in the midst of a seven-game win streak.  With their match canceled today, their next contest will now be tomorrow, October 1, against CUNYAC-rivals John Jay College at 3:30pm.  the match will be played at the CSI Tennis Complex but is a home game for the Bloodhounds.  The men’s soccer team is on the heels of a 1-0 overtime win over Lehman and are currently 2-8-1 overall and 2-3 in CUNYAC play.
