The Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education Research Program is now accepting applications for paid internships
The Maryland office of Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) administers various research participation programs, including the Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE), which allow college students and recent graduates to enhance their science education experience. The ORISE program is currently seeking applicants that represent diverse groups for summer research internship appointments and experiential training activities in the Washington, DC metro area. Research projects are available in several disciplines, including Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Material Sciences, Mathematics, Nanotechnology, Physical Sciences, and Public Health.
Participants in the program will receive a monthly stipend and have their travel and other costs reimbursed by the program. To be eligible, applicants must be full-time students who have completed their freshman year and maintained a GPA of 2.5 or higher. U.S. citizenship is also required.
