The Women’s Center is offering a $1,000 scholarship for a student who is a single mother with financial need.  Please read share this information in classes or otherwise pass it on to single moms who might benefit.

Applicants must submit a three- to  five-page essay on what brought them back to college, what their education means to them, and what, if any, service to their communities they have done. 

Applicants must also submit a current tax return or other official record establishing financial need.

Essays and documentation should be delivered to the Women’s Center (BUilding 2N, Room 106) between 10:00am to 4:00pm Monday through Thursday. The deadline is Tuesday, May 10.
