As part of a CUNY-wide project, CUNY Central has chosen to replace Symantec AntiVirus with McAfee VirusScan. CUNY Central has asked all of the colleges to work with McAfee engineers in replacing the software as soon as possible. Office Automation and User Services has begun the process of removing Symantec and replacing it with McAfee through software deployment. The deployment will be made as transparent to the users as possible and will continue for the next few weeks. McAfee engineers are onsite in order to assist with the deployment and fine tune the software for peak performance.
