The 2011 CUNYAC Champions College of Staten Island women’s softball team had a productive spring a few months ago, and in a few short weeks will begin proper defense of their title with the introduction of their fall-ball season. The abridged five week fall season will get the Dolphins ready for the spring, and with that, interested candidates will be asked to try out for the squad as CSI will finalize its roster.
Interested hopefuls can try out on the weekend of September 16-18. On Friday, September 16, tryo-outs will be from 4:30-6:30pm and on Saturday and Sunday, tryouts will take place between 11:00am and 1:00pm. Tryouts will take place on CSI’s competition softball field, adjacent to the baseball stadium in Parking Lot 1.
Although tryouts are open to all regardless of experience level, hopefuls will need to have a completed Physical Form on file at the CSI Training Office. To pick up a copy of the paperwork, please visit 1R-204 or call (718) 982-3160 for more information.
