WABC-TV will hold an Intern Recruitment Night on Wednesday, Nov. 9 starting at 5:00pm.
WABC-TV interns will assist assignment editors, producers, and reporters in story research. Additionally, they will gain knowledge and experience in broadcast newsgathering, assignment desk operations, and field production.
Interested studentsmust meet the following criteria:
-Must be an undergraduate junior or senior
-Must be available to work at least 16 hours per week.
-Must reside in the tri-state area
-Must fill out a WABC-TV Student Internship Application. (A copy of the Student Internship Application can be picked up at the Career and Scholarship Center in Building 1A, Room 105.)
-Must be dressed professionally at the Intern Recruitment Night.
The following WABC-TV departments will be interviewing: News Assignment Desk, 7Online.com, Wed Department of 7Online.com, News Medical Unite, News 7 On Your Side, News Investigative Unit, News Sports Department, News Weather Department, Community Affairs, IT Department, Sales, Marketing, LIVE! w/ Kelly, Creative Services and Promotions, Operations/Productions, Programming.
