It gives me great pleasure to invite all of the CSI campus community to join us for the 2011 CSI Celestial Ball, which will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3 at the Richmond County Country Club. This year’s theme is “Reaching for the Stars.”
Through this annual event we will help our students to reach for the stars by raising much-needed support for them through scholarships that will aid them in pursuing their dream of attaining a quality education and a bright future.
At this year’s Celestial Ball we will honor:
-Denis Hughes (Hon. ’11) , President and CEO of the NY AFL-CIO
-Dr. Mary O’Donnell, Chair of the CSI Nursing Department
-Mrs. Rose Volpe, community activist and wife of the late Dr. Edmond Volpe, former CSI President
I do hope that you’ll be able to join us by purchasing tickets, by taking out an ad, or by sending a gift for the scholarship fund. Last year’s event was such a resounding success.
