The Gallery of the College of Staten Island/CUNY is pleased to announce the opening of the exhibit Arthur Levine: Paintings and Drawings. The show will run from Wednesday, Feb. 22 to Saturday, Apr. 28.

Professor Levine is represented in many important collections such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York and has received numerous awards and accolades including a Fulbright grant to study in Paris. More recently he was awarded a fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts. His very special relationship with the College of Staten Island and its Art program spans the years from 1968 to 1992 when he founded the program and navigated its transition from Richmond College to the College of Staten Island to the time of his retirement. Please join us for our opening celebration on Wednesday, February 22 from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm at the Gallery in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P, Room 112).
