An internship opportunity is available for the Student Nurse Summer Internship Program, Scholars In Home Health Care. 

The Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY) offers paid summer internships that provide educational work opportunities for nursing students about to enter their senior year in an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. (http://www.vnsny.org/careers/students-and-new-grads/)

Applicants must:

-be a current Junior-year student enrolled in an accredited BSN program
-have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above
-be receiving a BSN degree between December 2012 and May 2013
The internship runs from Monday, June 18, 2012 through Friday, Aug. 10, 2012, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm, and features classes, conferences, and observational clinical experiences. Assignments are within the five boroughs, or Nassau or Westchester counties.
