Nick Zikos earned wins in No. 1 singles and doubles.

The Dolphins captured an 8-1 victory over York College on Saturday afternoon to extend their record to 3-5 while taking their first conference win. York College falls to a 1-5 record including a 1-3 conference record.

CSI grabbed two of three wins in doubles play. Nick Zikos and Austin Kapetanakis earned an 8-3 win over Ayman Busat and Ihganyi Agbor in the first spot while Dmitri Vituk and Oscar Wu saw an 8-3 victory in the No. 3 flight.

 In the singles play, Zikos captured the No.1 flight with a 6-4, 6-1 win over Ayman Busat. Dan Ursomanno took a 6-4, 6-4 win over Guaroluya Reynoso in No. 2 flights. Kapetanakis earned a 7-5, 6-1 triumph over Erick Giron in the No. 3 flight. Despite the great competition, Oscar Wu was defeated by Agbor in No. 4 flights, 7-6, 4-6, 10-12. Dmitriy Vituk triumphed in the No. 5 spot with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over Justin Mo. In the No. 6 flight, Vlad Romanov conquered the win over Trevon  Phillips in a well fought 67-, 6-1, 6-4 finish.

The Dolphins are back in action on Tuesday, April 3, as they travel to Farmingdale College for a 7:00 pm non-conference contest.
