There are many members of the College community who desperately need your help in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, as Staten Island suffered some of the worst damage in New York City.

In a coordinated effort to provide much-needed assistance, making our campus an oasis for those who have suffered the effects of this unprecedented storm, we have established a new initiative to help CSI faculty, staff, and students who are in need.

Our College community is a family, and as members of that family it is our collective obligation to do more to help those who were affected and get them back on their feet.

With your generous support, CSI Foundation Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund will assist those who are in need with financial needs to help them acquire food, temporary housing, transportation, etc.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation. One hundred percent of your contribution will assist those who need it most. Giving is as easy as going online  and clicking on “Make Your Gift Online Now.” You may also send your donation by check, payable to the CSI Foundation, noting Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund in the Memo line, and mail it to: CSI Foundation, 2800 Victory Boulevard 1A-401, Staten Island, NY, 10314.

Also, if you are in need of such assistance as a College faculty or staff member, or student, please contact the CSI Foundation at foundation@csi.cuny.edu.

So many members of our College community have already selflessly volunteered their time and resources to help their fellow students and co-workers. We thank them for their dedication. We also know that we can count on everyone who is able to help to pitch in so that those who were affected can put their lives back together.

We continue to accomplish much as a College, improving lives in the community. Now is the time to step forward and tackle one of the most important challenges that we have ever faced. Thank you for you generous support.
