The New York Needs You Fellows Program is now accepting applications.

The Program is a highly selective program for high-achieving, low-income, first-generation college students. Through holistic mentorship and a structured career development curriculum, the Fellows Program is designed to foster continuous college enrollment, internships, and job offers upon graduation from four-year institutions. Fellows also receive a professional development grant and numerous in-kind services.

NYNY Fellows:

-Earn a $2,500 professional development grant

-Access two summer internships at prestigious companies and organizations

-Receive individualized support from a mentor Coach

-Obtain in-kind services and products such as free business attire, free writing and ESL support, and subsidized test preparation

-Network with leading industry professionals

Applicants must meet the following four criteria to be eligible for the Fellows Program:

-Neither parent/guardian has a bachelor’s degree (in any country)

-U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency

-Freshman or sophomore attending college in the greater NYC-area

-Availability to attend regular Saturday workshops in Manhattan (workshops occur biweekly in Year 1 starting in June 2013; monthly in Year 2)
