Submit your photograph for the exhibition As I See It: Staten Island through the Lenses of CSI Students, which is sponsored by the Office of the Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences, the Archives & Special Collections, and the Photography Program of the Department of Performing and Creative Arts.
In an era when U.S. cities and suburbs have become homogeneous, filled with chain stores and prefabricated housing, we ask you to consider what makes Staten Island distinctive. Statements by each photographer presenting his or her view of what makes Staten Island unique and how the photograph captures that quality should accompany eachl entry. The best photographs will be printed, exhibited, and placed in the permanent collection of the CSI Archives.
The entry deadline is Thursday, April 25, 2013. Winner notification will take place on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. The exhibition will open on Thursday, May 9, 2013
