As of Tuesday, January 1, 2013, the Dean’s Office at the College of Staten Island appointed Francoise Sidime as the new Activity Coordinator for the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Program (LSAMP).

The NSF-supported New York City LSAMP program, in collaboration with The City University of New York, has been at the forefront of a concentrated effort to substantially increase the number of underrepresented minority students (African Americans, Hispanics, Native Americans, and Native Pacific Islanders) who pursue and graduate with Baccalaureate degrees in Science, Techonology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

For faculty members conducting research in the STEM disciplines who have students that they feel could benefit from the program; please contact or refer your students to Francoise Sidime, CSI LSAMP Activity Coordinator, 718.982.3857.
