The College of Staten Island men’s basketball team opened the season with a battle against Easter Mennonite at the Hampton In South Tip-Off Tournament. However, despite its best efforts, the Runnin’ Royals’ RJ Sims nailed a 3-pointer at the buzzer of regulation to force the game into overtime, where they went on to defeat the Dolphins, 95-93, Saturday.
