The College of Staten Island women’s softball recently got another pair of wins within the conference to improve to 4-0 in CUNYAC, play, and the Dolphins will be back in action tonight to look to lengthen that streak. CSI hosts Lehman College at the CSI Softball Complex for a CUNYAC doubleheader with first pitch scheduled for 3pm. The games were supposed to start at 12 Noon, but yesterday’s rains moved the game’s back to allow for added field prep. If you can’t make it to the game, you can listen live via CSI SportsNet at www.csidolphins.com/live with Chris Soriano behind the plate with the call.

The Dolphins come into the games with a 7-4 overall record, coming off of a doubleheader sweep of Brooklyn College this past Wednesday. Lehman comes in with just a 3-9 overall mark, sitting at 1-3 in CUNY. The Lightning dropped a CUNYAC doubleheader to Hunter College before splitting with John Jay College this past Tuesday. The Dolphins have been lights-out in the series to date, having won 20 straight games in the series while boasting a 47-12 overall record. The Dolphins are also 23-2 all-time at home against the Lightning. The last time Lehman defeated CSI at CSI was back on April 2, 1983.

?After today’s doubleheader, CSI will next play on Monday, April 7, when they host the College of Mount Saint Vincent for a doubleheader beginning at 5:00pm.
