The Music Program of the Department of Performing and Creative Arts presents “Trayvon Rising: Requiem for a Child of God” by William R. Bauer, Darryl Todman, and AJ Parascandola on Tuesday, Apr. 8 in the Center for the Arts
Recital Hall (Building 1P, Room 120) at 3:00pm.
This piece is a meditation on the death of Trayvon Martin, whose time among us ended at 7:16pm on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 while he was visiting the Retreat at Twin Lakes in Sanford, FL.
Audience members are asked to wear a hoodie while in attendance.
