The Music Program of the Department of Performing and Creative Arts presents the CSI Orchestra, in affiliation with Curtis High School, Olivier Fluchaire and James Minenna, conductors. The concert will take place on Sunday, May 4 in the Center for the Arts Concert Hall at 2:30pm.
Admission is free. Tickets are available at the CFA box office or at the door before the recital.
This concert will present a program including Le Midi, Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 7 in C Major, Hob. 7; “Casta Diva” by Vincenzo Bellini from his opera Norma (arranged by Olivier Fluchaire), featuring soprano Elena Heimur; Brandenburg Concerto No. 4, by Johannes Sebastian Bach (arranged by Mark Lasinski); Rosamunde by Franz Schubert (arranged by Vernon Leidig) and, on the lighter side, excepts from the musical Wicked and the Disney movie Alice in Wonderland.
