Every spring, the Women’s Center awards a $1,000 scholarship for single mothers with financial need. Students need to submit a three-to-five-page essay explaining the path that brought them back to college, the importance of their college education, and in what ways they have served their home community or CSI community. (The essay, will be published in The Banner.)
Applicants must also submit a 2014 tax return or other official document to demonstrate financial need.
Applications are due by Thursday, May 8 at the Women’s Center in Building 2N, Room 106.
