The Career and Scholarship Center is pleased to be hosting an information session for the Jeannette K. Watson Fellowship on Tuesday, Sept. 30 in Building 3S, Room 107 from 2:30pm to 3:30pm. The program offers students three paid summer internships, and the stipend that students will receive for these internships is very generous: $5,000 for each of the first two summers, and $6,000 for the last summer. Throughout the year, the program additionally provides students with mentoring and professional development, and they help their Fellows make connections that can launch their careers. The Fellowship seeks students who are currently in their freshman or sophomore year, and who are open minded to different experiences that allow them to step outside of their comfort zone.
A representative from the J.K. Watson Foundation is coming to CSI to answer students’ questions and tell them about the benefits of the Fellowship and how to apply. The application deadline will occur in early spring 2015.
Students can earn a Personal Growth CLUE by attending this session.
