The College of Staten Island will take to the pitch today at the CSI Soccer Complex in Staten Island, NY, to take on CUNYAC rivals Brooklyn College in a showdown for sole position of first place.  The Dolphins come into today’s match 4-6 overall and 2-0 in the CUNYAC while the Bulldogs are 3-5 overall and 2-0 in the CUNYAC as well.

CSI holds the all-time record over the Bulldogs with a 16-8 mark, with 9 of those wins coming at the CSI Soccer Complex.  The Dolphins have won three of the last six meetings between these two teams with each team scoring 11 goals over that six game span. Nicholas Bacarella has scored in three of his last four games and leads the team with five goals on the year, look for him to continue his good form to help the Dolphins take today’s much anticipated CUNYAC matchup.

The Bulldogs have scored more than one goal this season in just two of their games as they were shutout in their first four of the season.  Since that four game skid however, the Bulldogs have really turned it around and have gone 3-1 with two of the wins coming against CUNYAC opponents.
