The College of Staten Island men’s and women’s basketball teams are on the road tonight as the women will be traveling to take on New York University at 7:00 pm and the men will be traveling to Mahwah, NJ to take on Ramapo College at 7:30 pm.

NYU owns the all-time series against the Dolphins with a 19-2 record.  The Dolphins were able to get those two wins on the road at NYU’s home court however they came in the first two seasons of this rivalry back in 1983.  The Dolphins have lost 19 straight since that point and will hope to end that drought tonight.  The Dolphins nearly won Drew University’s tournament over the weekend however they were defeated by Clarkson University 74-64.  Megan Myhre and Christina Pasaturo will look to lead the Dolphins charge as they are both averaging 15+ points per game.

On the men’s side, CSI and Ramapo College are in a deadlock with a record of 6-6.  The last meeting between these two teams came on December 12, 2013 where the Dolphins beat the Roadrunners 109-92 in a high scoring affair. Sophomore guard Frankie Schettino and junior forward Will Fonseca will look to help the Dolphins start a winning streak as they both are averaging 25 points per game through two contests and are coming off of a 71-65 victory over UMass Dartmouth.

Fans, if you are unable to make either game, the men will be featured on www.csidolphins.com/watch where there will be a live play-by-play of the game.  The women will be featured on http://www.sidearmstats.com/nyu/wbball/ where there will be live stats available.
