You are cordially invited to attend the Dean’s Symposium on Tuesday, Dec. 2 in the center for the Arts (Building 1P) Lecture Hall from 2:30pm to 4:00pm. This symposium’s theme is “Pop Culture and Society: Representations, Interactions, and Comparisons.” Professor Tim Gray of the English Department and Professor Giancarlo Lombardi of the World Languages and Literatures Department will present their research. These well-known scholars will address ways in which popular culture reflects and is shaped by the societies in which we live, both in the U.S. and globally. We encourage you to attend what will undoubtedly be a fruitful and stimulating discussion.

This symposium series is presented each month by the Office of the Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences. A reception will follow the event. The series is CLUE certified.
