It is with profound sadness that I write to inform you of the passing of Dr. Alex Chigogidze, the College of Staten Island’s Dean of Science and Technology.
Dean Alex will be remembered as a vibrant leader at the College. Our lives and our community have greatly benefited from having known him.
I extend my deepest condolences to members of his family, to members of the College community, as well as to all those whose lives were touched by his kindness, humor, and intellect.
