The College of Staten Island women’s basketball team is back in action tonight when they travel to Brooklyn, NY to take on Brooklyn College.  The Dolphins will head into the game with an 11-8 overall record and 8-2 in the CUNYAC while Brooklyn College is 13-5 overall and 10-1 in the CUNYAC.  The Dolphins are 33-12 all-time against the Bulldogs and have only won two of the last six games.

The Bulldogs come into tonight’s game riding a five game win streak and will look to extend it to six.  Megan Campbell leads her team in both points (14.2) and rebounds (9.7) per game and had a dominating performance last time these two teams played.  Campbell was a force to be reckoned with in the paint as she grabbed 16 rebounds and poured in 15 points against the Dolphins when they played back in January.  Brooklyn College is outscoring their opponents 64-54 and protecting their home court against intruders with a 5-2 home court record.

The Dolphins will head into tonight’s game feeling confident as they are on a six game win streak and coming off their finest game of the season.  CSI dominated John Jay College on Wednesday night at the CSI Sports & Rec Center and went on to win 93-38 on 52% shooting while holding their opponents to just 20%.  The women will want to replicate that performance and get revenge for the loss in January.  Christina Pasaturo will look to stay in her scoring groove while getting assistance from point guard duo Victoria Crea and Victoria Gallinaro while Megan Myhre provides long range support.
