The Office of Recruitment and Admissions will be hosting an Admitted Student Conference for newly admitted undergraduate students on Sunday, Mar. 15 in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P) from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
This event is designed to inform students about the many opportunities available to them at CSI with the goal that they will accept our offer of admission and enroll at the College. At past events, students and their families have been particularly eager to hear directly from faculty members and staff about specific academic programs and student services. I strongly encourage you to send a representative to this program so that you can recruit and familiarize newly admitted students with CSI’s offerings as they build their academic plans.
Based on our current admission numbers for fall 2015 and lessons learned from last year, we have adjusted the program to provide a better flow of traffic for all involved.
The event will begin at approximately 10:30am. Registration for students begins at 10:00am. The Academic and Student Services Fair is tentatively scheduled to run from 10:45am to 1:30pm. Representatives covering an information table should arrive by 10:15am. The fair and special sessions will begin at 10:45am for a portion of our guests. We will be running many of our sessions twice to accommodate the numbers and provide a more manageable and consistent traffic flow. Please plan to be there until 1:30pm.
