The College of Staten Island women’s volleyball team is now riding a three-game winning streak, and will take to the road for the second time in as many days this evening as they tackle the College of New Rochelle. The Blue Angels come in with a head of steam themselves, having won four straight games.

Players To Watch (CSI): Siobhan Granich led the way last night with 13 kills on 29 attempts. Look for her to stay active on the front-line tonight for the Dolphins.
Players to Watch (CNR): Fabiola Padilla Rios is pacing the Blue Angela with 112 kills this season, good for just under three per set. She also shares the lead with 38 service aces, and is tops in digs with 143.
News and Notes: This season, both steams have shared one common opponent in Kean University with both having lost, 3-0. Melanie Ann Lopez Soto notched seven kills in that game as CNR won by scores of 25-17, 25-15, and 25-10. CSI’s last win against CNR came in 2010, by a 3-2 score, but CSI has had success in New Rochelle, having won three out of the four previous meetings held at The Wellness Center.
