Players To Watch (CSI): Brayan Evo is fifth on the team in minutes played this season as he is an integral part in the center of the pitch. The freshman has had a solid season posting three goals and three assists. Evo has been a headache for defenses all year as he doesn’t turn the ball over much but does put the ball in areas for his teammates to score. Philip Lefkowitz has flew passed defenders all season with his amazing speed which has allowed him to tally four goals and two assists thus far in his rookie campaign.
Players To Watch (MEC): Zeakial Daley is once again atop the Cougars’ scoring chart with five goals this season. Daley, who is 6’2″, will prove to be a threat in the air as his size will be a problem for the Dolphins. Shakeel Warrick is the man that will dish out the passes to Daley to try to put him in scoring position in today’s game as he finished the regular season with two assists.
News and Notes: The Dolphins have faced the Cougars 37 times in their history and have picked up 22 wins over that span. Staten Island has won the last four of five games against Medgar Evers including a 5-1 CUNYAC Quarterfinals win last season. The men are 2-1 in the postseason against the Cougars and have outscored them 9-4.
