Flexible Spending Accounts Program-Open Enrollment Period Extended for Plan Year 2016

Please be advised that the Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) Program Open Enrollment Period for Plan Year 2016 is extended through Monday, Nov. 30, 2015 for an effective date of Friday, Jan. 1, 2016.

MSC Health Benefits Buy-Out Waiver Program for 2016:
The annual incentive payment amount has increased to $1,500 for waiving individual coverage and $3,000 for waiving family coverage, effective for Plan Year 2016. Current participants will receive this increased amount automatically in Plan Year 2016.

FSA: HCFSA and DeCAP for 2016:
HCFSA is a way to pay for eligible medical expenses (not covered by insurance), and dental, vision, and hearing expenses (not covered by the Welfare Fund) with before-tax dollars. DeCAP is a way to pay for expenses to care for your child(ren) or other dependents, with before-tax dollars, while you and your spouse work or attend school full time.
