For the first time since 1999, the College of Staten Island men’s basketball team will tangle with their cross-town rivals from Staten Island, NCAA Division I Wagner College, on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 4pm at the Spiro Sports Center on Staten Island. You can get your tickets now at the Wagner box office for what promises to be an exciting afternoon on Thanksgiving weekend.
Tickets are $10 for general admission and $6 for children and can be purchased at the Wagner box office or online HERE.

The two sides are renewing what was once a rich rivalry and one of the highlights of the Staten Island sports year during the late-1970’s and through the 80’s. The two teams have met 14 times, with Wagner owning an 11-3 advantage in the series. CSI defeated Wagner in 1982, 1983, and in 1989. The teams met only twice in the 1990’s, with Wagner taking big wins in 1997 (80-48) and in 1999 (95-55).
CSI is 3-1 this season, having recently defeated Hunter College in their CUNYAC opener, 90-78. The Seahawks come in at 1-2, coming off of a solid 87-73 win over the University of Maine.
