The College of Staten Island women’s basketball team will look to continue their win streak and pick up their third overall win of the season when they travel to Brooklyn, NY, to take on St. Joseph’s College – Brooklyn at 2pm.

Players To Watch (CSI):  The sophomore duo of Christina Pasaturo and Samantha Flecker will look to lead the way for the Dolphins against the Bears as they both are averaging 18 and 17 points per game, respectively. Pasaturo and Flecker both pose a threat to opposing teams as they are a threat to score from anywhere on the court whether it be the hard points in the paint or the long range three point shot.
Players To Watch (SJCBK): Destiny Marino and Erica Eddy will be the scoring threat for the Bears.  Marino averages 17.2 points per game while Eddy pours in 11.7 points per game.  The Bears are averaging 59 points per game as a team while the Dolphins put up 76 points a game.    
News and Notes: The Dolphins are 16-1 overall against the Bears and have won four of the last five meetings.  The Bears were able to defeat the Dolphins for the first time in history in the 2011-12 season where they posted a 60-55 win.  This series dates back to 1995 and will be the 18th meeting between these two teams.  These teams are headed in different directions this season as the Dolphins are 2-3 overall and will look to pick up their second win in a row while the Bears have yet to win a game this season.
