The College of Staten Island men’s tennis squad is coming off of a convincing victory against non-conference opponents Berkeley College.  The Dolphins defeated the Knights 8-1 and improved their record to 2-1 overall.   Today the Dolphins will take on the Farmingdale State Rams in a non-conference bout at 1:00 pm at the CSI Tennis Bubble.

Players to Watch (CSI):  Matthew Vesci is 2-0 this season in both singles and doubles and will look to stay undefeated today against the Rams.  Andrew Adia has played well in the no. 1 slot this season and has a 2-1 record overall and a 1-0 CUNYAC record.
Players to Watch (FS):  Dan Baruch plays in the no. 4 spot for the Rams and will go toe-to-toe with Vesci who is coming off an impressive victory over Berkeley College.  Kevin Palacios is 1-2 overall from the no. 1 position this season and will likely take on Adia.
News and Notes: The Dolphins are currently on a two match win streak and will look to extend it to three this afternoon on their home court.  When playing at the CSI Tennis Bubble the Dolphins are 1-1 this season after they lost a close match to Purchase College 5-4 in the first match of the season.
