I would like to thank everyone who assisted us with the Apr. 10 Admitted Student Conference. It was another successful event. Please mark your calendars for our next and last one.
The Office of Recruitment and Admissions will be hosting an Admitted Student Conference (ASC) for newly admitted undergraduate students on Saturday, May 7 from 9:30am to 2:00pm in the Center for the Arts (Building 1P).
The ASC is designed to inform students about the many opportunities available to them at CSI with the goal that they will accept our offer of admission and enroll at the College. At past events, students and their families have been particularly eager to hear directly from faculty members and staff about specific academic programs and student services. I strongly encourage you to send a representative to this program so that you can recruit and familiarize newly admitted students about CSI’s offerings as they build their academic plans.
The event will begin at 9:30am. The Academic and Student Services Fairs are scheduled from 9:30 am to 1:00pm. Representatives who are covering an information table should arrive by 9:15am. Special sessions will begin at 10:00am and repeat throughout the day.
In addition to the Center for the Arts, we are utilizing Building 2A to accommodate the numbers and provide a more manageable and consistent traffic flow. More information will follow as the event approaches.
Please let us know if your representative is interested in conducting a session on the majors offered in your department or on a particular program, and if you would like to host any students in your building or facility.
