This spring, the CSI History Department Lecture Series is centered on the theme of the history of sexuality. The next lecture will feature Natalia Mehlman Petrzela, Assistant Professor at the New School and author of the recent book Classroom Wars: Language, Sex, and the Making of Modern Political Culture (Oxford, 2015). On Thursday, Apr. 21 in Building 2N, Room 102 at 2:30pm, Prof. Petrzela will deliver a talk titled “Education for Liberation or Regulation? Sex and Schools in the Modern United States.” The lecture and discussion promise to be fascinating. Coffee and cake will be served.
