The College of Staten Island women’s volleyball team is back on the hardwood tonight.  CSI will travel to Wilkes-Barre, PA to partake in a tri-match against Wilkes University and Immaculata at 2:00 and 4:00 pm.

Players to Watch (CSI): Vanessa Reyes and Siobhan Granich have emerged as the team’s top hitters, collecting 35 and 33 kills respectively. Jessica Cafiero has replaced graduated senior Brittany Minondo as the team’s setter and has posted 51 assists through three matches this season.  Victoria Wong has been doing a great job protecting the back line as has tallied 79 digs this season.
Players to Watch (WU): Wilkes University is led by freshman Jamey Mikovich with 80 kills on the year through eight matches. Setting her up for such success has been Alexis Morgan with 250 assists. Madison Scarfaro will look to block the attempts of the Dolphins as she leads her team with 16 blocks on the year.
Players to Watch (IU): Arden Vizzard has started all eight matches and has tallied a team high 69 kills and 74.5 points.  Olivia Zdradzinski moves the ball around with precision and sets her teammates up for success and for her efforts has collected 157 assists on the year.
News and Notes: The Dolphins have had many leads this season only to see them fall by the wayside.  Should the Dolphins get a lead this weekend they will do their best to hold on to it and finish out the match.  CSI has alternated wins and losses so far this season and would like to put a string of wins together as the season moves forward. Wilkes and Immaculata both come into today’s matches on a losing streak.
