The College of Staten Island women’s tennis team is fresh off of a big win over Sarah Lawrence last night, and they are back on the courts today to intro their CUNYAC slate when they host the Cardinals of York College, at 12 Noon.  York is just 0-1 on the young season, seeing their first two matches postponed in early-September.

Players to Watch (CSI): The Dolphins got big wins up and down the lineup last night and will look to continue the effort this afternoon.  Tristiana Adragna won her first collegiate matches in singles and doubles, as did freshman Hannah Bruschi.  Look for them to want to bounce back with big wins this afternoon.  At the top, Nozima Toshpulatova won a gritty match last night and will look to keep the win streak going.
Players to Watch (YC):  The Cardinals feature a team with a lone junior and then seven first year freshmen.   Sarah Hilaire played at No. 1 in York’s first match and is one of those first year faces.
News and Notes: This is the first meeting between the two schools since 2014, as last year York suspended its program entirely in 2015.  CSI has won every meeting from 2009-14.
